Blue Skies, and Final Clues

{View from our room, inside.}
Whenever we complain of the humidity or heat during the summer,
My child's memory of the summers of my youth
Always, always include crisp, blue skies...

{my yogi friend, sun salutation}
Blue like you've never seen before.
It had been so long since I had seen a blue sky like that
That I was starting to think it was just my mind's eye
Making the memory vibrant
Like everything else a child does.

Until we got there.
And it was oh-so blue!

And the sand dunes, so tall
Perfect for "sliding",
Coating the skin with tiny silicon crystals
And reviving the child within.

The freshest, most yummy seafood ever.
I know he would rather have been playing
In the blue waters
Under the blue skies
Next to the sand slides.
-----

There had been reports of huge Great Whites off the coast before we arrived.
But this is the head of a huge seal,

And these are his family and friends.
I am sure they are what brought the Great Whites.
They are so beautiful
that I hated the thought.

Then I found this and realized
It's such a strange circle of life.

Well, hello there!

Well, thank the Lord, I can finally sleep! (Now that I know where your trip took you ) (grin). I LOVE the sky! People make fun of me because I am always pointing out the sky above...but not you! Sky sisters, we are :) I'm so glad the mental photo in your "childhood file" was brought out in full glory!
You've done Cape Cod proud with these gorgeous photos. And also? You were practically my neighbor that week! Had I known I would have waved in the general southern direction toward that lovely shore. :-)
Wow! How beautiful!
You're happiness oozes from these pictures and words. So glad for you.
We took a September trip to Cape Cod years ago, 1992, ( okay that ages a gal ), and fell in love.
We went to the Cranberry Parade and the Cape Cod chip factory and whale watching, and wow thanks for these memories!
