Here I Grow Again

Stretching, reaching, stepping outside that comfort zone
that encircles me.
Growing.
Who'd-a thought it would take me
44 years
to realize
It's not inside this box that life happens.
It's in abandoning the ordinary,
the what I'm used to,
the what feels comfortable
And in embracing what's new,
different,
and stimulating to the senses
that forces growth
and emergence.
Be brave.
Grow with me.
