the littlest one

There were three in the bed

and the biggest one said,

"Heck NO! I'm NOT going trick-or-treating!!"

There were two in the bed

and the middle one said,

"Yeah, right!! I'm hiding in the bushes and SCARING trick-or-treaters!"

There was one in the bed

and the littlest one said,

"Oh, yes, mommy!!  Please, please, plEEEEEAAAASSSeeee!!?

I want to wear the cutest little bumble-bee costume I saw at the mall,

and bring my friend and go through ALL the neighborhoods

and bring the Halloween pillowcase that grandma made me

and gets lots 'n lots 'n LOTS of candy

and come home and sort it out and divide it up

{and I promise to only eat one-or maybe two-or just a little}

and I'll even share with the brothers

and I don't even care that it's pouring rain outside!"

And so they did.

Trick or treating in the rain? That's dedication.

It always amazes how different each of our children are.
Hugs to you!
